Melody Spradlin

Melody is currently Head of Global Facilities, Security & Business Resiliency for KLA. Prior to her role at KLA, Melody led facility and construction organizations at Lucid Motors, Ultragenyx, Gilead Sciences, Apple and Genentech where she was responsible for various leadership roles.

Melody has over 35 years of experience in global facility master planning strategy and governance creation, cross discipline team leadership, and portfolio project execution on technology and life sciences projects in China, Japan, Europe, Brazil, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United States. Melody started her career in the US Navy Civil Engineer Corps serving at Brunswick, Maine Naval Air Station.

Melody is currently pursuing her PhD in Civil Engineering at Stanford University with a focus on studying the connection between infrastructure, facility, business, and community resiliency by deploying geospatial mapping and AI. Melody received an MS in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management from Stanford University and has an MBA from New Hampshire College.

Melody has raised four daughters with her husband Mike and is now a grandmother. She enjoys reading, hiking and gardening in her free time.
